Peloton’s newest ad campaign for its Tread Flex is both vulgar and provocative. The “Let Yourself Run” ad features singer Miley Cyrus dancing and running on a treadmill, while wearing a skimpy spaghetti-strap leotard with sheer tights underneath.

Set in a mirrored dance studio, the ad highlights Cyrus’ suggestive choreography, which includes dancing on chairs and moving provocatively across the floor, to her newest single, “Bass Persuades.”

An extended version of this commercial shows Miley turning and walking away, revealing her bottom in a thong leotard. Every move is inappropriate for television, which makes this ad inexcusable.

Peloton has crossed a line with highly sexualized choreography that is unlikely to influence anyone to buy a treadmill and will instead push potential customers away. The sexual content in this ad campaign is offensive for a family-friendly fitness brand.

This highly suggestive commercial is entirely sexual in nature and concerning, as it airs during college football games – a prime-time family-viewing slot when children are likely in the room. Broadcasting during these hours is irresponsible!

It is appalling for Peloton to air this raunchy marketing campaign.

Sign our petition and urge Peloton to cancel this provocative commercial “Let Yourself Run” immediately.
