Help Disabled Kids and Seniors by Stopping Taxpayer Funded Abortion

Last year, working together as a team, we achieved a historic victory. We finally stopped taxpayer dollars from going to abortion providers, like Planned Parenthood.

As you may recall, we were aiming to defund abortion providers for 10 years. That was the U.S. House position, which we supported. But then Senate Majority Leader John Thune weakened the effort, reducing a potential $7 billion defund effort to approximately $700 million for just one year.

A one-year prohibition was better than nothing, but that temporary provision shamefully expired on July 4, 2026.

Congress must now decide to reauthorize this prohibition. And they are going to have to use a third (“3.0”) reconciliation budget to do it. And that is probably going to have to happen this week before the “August recess.”

Please contact your U.S. Senators and House members and urge them to defund abortion providers in a “Reconciliation 3.0” budget.

Last year, we reminded people that using Medicaid and other government funds to support abortion providers comes with a heavy price tag.

Abortion providers have been raking in hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars while children with disabilities and vulnerable adults wait for critical Medicaid services.

Tell Washington lawmakers to prioritize vulnerable Americans over abortion providers and defund abortion in a 3.0 Reconciliation budget.

More than 700,000 Americans are currently on Medicaid waiting lists for services that could improve their quality of life—or even save their lives.

Children with disabilities need therapies and support.

Low-income seniors need care.

Vulnerable adults need assistance.

Washington politicians often claim there isn't enough money to meet every need. Yet, for decades, they have been funneling Medicaid dollars to Planned Parenthood, even as disabled kids sit on Medicaid waiting lists.

Regardless of the reason, one thing is clear:

Children with disabilities should come before abortion providers.

Low-income seniors and vulnerable Americans should come before political special interests.
