American Family Association Commends Speaker Mike Johnson’s Statement on Women’s Only Spaces in the U.S. Capitol
TUPELO, Miss. — American Family Association (AFA) praises Speaker of the House Mike Johnson for his decisive leadership in reaffirming the importance of preserving single-sex spaces in the U.S. Capitol complex. By ensuring that restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms are reserved for individuals based on their sex, Speaker Johnson has taken a stand to protect privacy, dignity, and fairness for women across the nation.
Speaker Johnson’s declaration that “women deserve women’s only spaces” aligns with foundational truths and principles reflected in both common sense and faith. As it is written in Genesis 1:27, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” This Biblical truth underscores the significance of recognizing reality and respecting the unique and divinely created distinctions between male and female.
