Parents signing petition against Macy’s non-binary, trans ‘spectacular’ Thanksgiving Day Parade

TUPELO, Miss. — This year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to hold a non-binary, trans ‘extravaganza’ with two non-binary performers, Justin David Sullivan and Alex Newell, who are expected to perform in the parade. As of November 16, over 32,000 people signed a petition taking aim at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade amongst allegations that this year’s celebration will be exhibiting non-binary transgender content. The petition, which is organized by One Million Moms, states, “Unless they are forewarned about it, this year’s holiday parade will potentially expose tens of millions of viewers at home to the liberal LGBTQ agenda.”

Director of On Million Moms at American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) Monica Cole commented on the petition:

“With the help of extensive media coverage, the ‘Say No to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’ petition currently has over 32,000 signatures and continues to gain momentum since Macy’s is leaving conservative families with no other choice than to not watch this year’s parade. The petition will only gain speed as Thanksgiving Day rapidly approaches as One Million Moms warns as many parents as possible that Macy’s is choosing to be politically correct verses remain neutral in the culture war by potentially exposing millions of viewers to non-binary and transgender performers. Conservative parents have had enough and are signing to urge Macy’s to not push the LGBTQ agenda under the disguise of entertainment. This news has hit a nerve with parents because the once holiday tradition is no longer family-friendly, and pushing the gay agenda during primetime is completely unnecessary since this is extremely confusing for children having men perform in drag not to mention damaging to our society.”
