Job Description

Job Description: The Digital Content Producer transforms AFR radio programming into engaging, platform-specific digital content for podcasts, video, social media, and search audiences. Working as part of the daily production process for assigned programs, the producer will identify compelling moments, develop supporting copy and creative assets, and prepare content for distribution across platforms such as YouTube, AFA Stream, podcast services, Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.

A person seeking to join our team should have the following qualifications:

  1. You have trusted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and are seeking to live a life that honors Him using your God-given talents in Digital Marketing/Communications.
  2. You have an associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or digital marketing (encouraged but not required).
  3. You have 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and/or Social Media Management (required).
  4. You can review full radio show episodes to identify key themes, compelling discussions, notable quotes, and opportunities for digital content, including highlight videos/audio segments and short-form clips.
  5. You can create and adapt engaging content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and other platforms, including headlines, captions, calls to action, show notes, chapters, keywords, and supporting copy.
  6. You can apply SEO and digital-discoverability best practices to titles, descriptions, transcripts, metadata, webpages, and related content. Create thumbnails and basic promotional graphics or coordinate with designers as needed.
  7. You can review AI-generated transcripts, summaries, captions, and other materials for accuracy, including proper names, Scripture references, and theological context. Collaborate with hosts, producers, social media staff, designers, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and timely publishing.
  8. You can monitor content performance and utilize analytics to recommend improvements to topics, titles, thumbnails, formats, and publishing strategies. Stay current with social platform trends, algorithm changes, copyright requirements, and digital-media best practices
