American Family Radio welcomes ‘Dr. Nurse Mama’ podcast to weekly AFR lineup
TUPELO, Miss. — American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) is proud to welcome the podcast “Dr. Nurse Mama,” hosted by Dr. Jessica Peck, to the American Family Radio podcast lineup beginning Monday, April 24, on AFR.net and on the AFR app.
As a pediatric nurse practitioner, professor, author, and mother of four, Dr. Peck has engaged, encouraged, equipped and empowered families to raise holistically healthy kids. Dr. Peck guides parents to help navigate challenging parenting moments with grace, hope and courage.
A native Texan, Dr. Peck is a clinical professor at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing. An internationally awarded nursing leader, she served as president of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Today’s teens face many realities their parents have never faced before, creating conflict that can lead to shame, stigma, broken relationships, and even a crisis of faith. Each week, Dr. Peck will approach these issues from a biblical and holistic health perspective with the aim of bringing hope and healing to families in America and around the world.
