AFA: Logic, fairness, civility end as restaurant policy of ‘inclusion’ excludes pro-family group

TUPELO, Miss. — A Richmond, Virginia restaurant with a highly publicized policy of “inclusion” canceled a long-planned event by a pro-family group only 90 minutes before the dinner was scheduled to start. Metzger Bar and Butchery notified The Family Foundation of Virginia it was not welcome because of its views on traditional marriage and its powerful pro-life stance. As The Family Foundation president said, the woke mob struck when “an employee looked up our organization, and their wait staff refused to serve us.”

American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) Executive Vice President Ed Vitagliano pointed out that the liberal “anything goes” mentality clearly does not apply to traditional Christian values and urged Christians to stand strong against the rising religion of wokeism in America.

“It’s been clear for the last six years or so that the ‘progressive’ left has ended any pretense of fairness, civility, or logic in America’s culture wars, and this incident is another example of that,” Vitagliano stated. “Their hatred for conservatives and Christians runs so deep that this restaurant has basically said Christians are not allowed to eat there unless they change their religious beliefs first. Followers of Christ had better buckle up, because the angry hordes of the barbarian left will not be satisfied until Christians have been fully pushed out of mainstream America.”
