MONDAY

Saved by Grace Through Faith

So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life” (Galatians 3:11 NLT).

It is by faith in Jesus and what He did for us, that we are saved. It is not about what we did, but what He did for us. We are saved by grace because of God's love for us. Our part of salvation is accepting that Jesus came to save the lost (us), laid His life down for our sins, was dead and buried, then God raised Him from the dead and He sits at the right hand of our heavenly Father. Through repentance of our sins and our declaration that we believe in the grace that God has provided us through His Son, Jesus Christ, we are saved. Thank You, Lord!

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for saving us. Thank You for making a path for us to reach Heaven and be with You when this life is over. I praise Your name and accept Your amazing grace. Amen.

TUESDAY

It Turns Out Well

No one can comprehend the height of heaven, the depth of the earth, or all that goes on in the king’s mind! (Proverbs 25:3 NLT).

We have no idea of how wonderful Heaven will be, nor the depths of evil in this world. We also don't understand God's plan. We can be certain when we trust in Him, everything turns out well.

Dear Lord, help us to stop living a life that resembles Hell and begin living a life that is Heaven bound. I ask in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

WEDNESDAY

Super-Abundance

You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it (Matthew 7:13, 14 NLT).

Are you looking for an abundant life? A life worth living? Peace and knowing that God has your hand and is leading you down the right path? Accept Jesus as your King and follow him into that abundant life. Yes, He provides a life adorned with abundance, here on earth, plus the wonderful promise of everlasting life in heaven.

It is not always an easy path, but it's a path that you will never regret taking. Many will miss the chance by thinking, " hey, I have plenty of time.  I'm going to lead my wild life and then turn to God ." Folks, we have no idea when we will take our last breath. Isn't now the time to accept Jesus?

Think about it. Don't make an eternal mistake.

Father God, thank You for Your Son and the fact that He laid down His life for all of us. I pray that many people will turn to Jesus, repent and claim You as God. Thank You, Father, for Your love, mercy, and grace. Help us to re-live Your grace on a daily basis. I ask and pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

THURSDAY

God Is Light

This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:5-7 NLT).

Are you living in the Light?

Father, let those that see only darkness, see Your amazing light. I ask in the mighty name of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

FRIDAY

Freed From Sin

We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin (Romans 6:6, 7 NLT).

Because of what Jesus did on the cross, we are free from the grip of sin. Our chains are broken.

Lord God, thank You for saving us from ourselves. Your gift of Salvation should never be underestimated. It was a free gift that cost You your life, Lord. Your blood shed for all of us. Without Your sacrifice, we would never be able to enter Heaven and have a relationship with You. Today and forever, I praise Your Holy Name. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.

SATURDAY

A True Friend Speaks Truth

“Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others” (Proverbs 12:15 NLT).

Sometimes we have blinders on and can't see that the path that we are on is not a good one. We must be willing to listen to a good friend who is speaking the truth. Sometimes that truth cuts deep into our core. When that happens, compare your friends rebuke with God's word. If they agree, you must adhere to your friends rebuke. Remember, it's for your own good.

Dear Lord, help us to accept correction from credible sources. We all go astray. Lord, help us to listen to others. Help us get back on track. In Jesus' name, Amen.

SUNDAY

The Vine

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5 NLT).

Jesus is (or should be) the center of our lives. Everything should begin and end with His counsel. We must weigh our choices in life as to what He taught. After all, Jesus is the beginning and the end of our faith. He is where our roots should be solidly grounded. Without His guidance, we will be lost.

Lord, we walk around searching for physical items to bring into our lives, so that we might be fulfilled. We look for girlfriends/wives, boyfriends/husbands, cars, boats, houses, etc. We even try to self-medicate ourselves into feeling happy or content. Lord, help us to realize the only true contentment. happiness, peace, and fulfillment is having Jesus in our lives. Help us to grow down deep in Your love, mercy, and grace. Help us to grow deeper into Your word. When we have a strong “root” system, we will have what we are looking for in life. Help us Lord God. I pray and praise Your mighty name today. Amen.
