MONDAY

God's Provision

Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us (Luke 1:78 (NLT).

God shows up and shows out when we are in our greatest time of need. When we don't even ask for help, He is there, laying out a perfect plan. Then He amazes us with His mighty presence in the midst of our troubles.

God is one step ahead of all our needs. Sometimes that step is not as close as we would like, but His timing is perfect and His glory will shine through what we feel is a dimly lit situation.

Thank you Lord for Your love. You love us when we really don't even like ourselves. We praise Your mighty name today and always. Amen.

TUESDAY

Life...Endurance, Tests And Victories

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world (1 Peter 1:7 NLT).

In life, we will be tested. We will have bad days. We will suffer loss, personally and financially. We will fight sickness. We will be lied about, we will be vilified.

It's part of this broken world that we live in. It is a part of life.

Now, the key is, how do we handle these trials? It's our choice on how we cope with this junk, but I attest to fact that, not by our power but by the power of Jesus Christ, we can handle all of these life changing situations. Is it fun?  No, but the power of God gives us the ability to endure. Not only will we endure but we will claim many victories over the challenges of life.

So how do we endure and claim these victories? Well, we must fight the fight and run the race, not giving up. But most importantly, we have to trust in God and lay our problems at the foot of Christ's Cross.

Lord, when we are beaten down by this world, remind us to look up and give our problems to you. Help us to fight the good fight and run the race to the finish. Help us finish strong, Lord. Amen.

WEDNESDAY

Our Good Father

“My child, don’t reject the LORD’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights” (Proverbs 3:11-12 NLT).

Our Father in Heaven corrects us when we get off course. His correction is out of His great love for us. Accept the adjustment, get back on the right path and thank God for His amazing love.

Dear Lord, we all tend to get off track. I pray for Your gentle hand of correction to bring us back to where You designed us to be. In Jesus' name. Amen.

THURSDAY

Jesus, Our Savior

We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus (Romans 6:9-11 (NLT).

He lived, died and was raised from the dead. He now sits at the right hand of God Almighty. Thanks be to God that Jesus was sent to save us from ourselves. Father God, let us not forget that He died because of our sins. He freely gave His life for each of us. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.

Lord, we are so undeserving of your love, but You deem us worthy. Thank You Lord. Thank You. Amen.

FRIDAY

All Encompassing

The instructions of The Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair  (Psalms 19:7-9 NLT).

Perfect - Reviving - Decrees - Trustworthy - Wise - Commandments - Right - Joy - Clear - Reverence - Pure - Forever - True - Fair!

Lord God, thank You for Your perfection. Thank You for making us perfect by the blood of Jesus. Without Jesus, we cannot come into Your presence. With Jesus, You welcome us into Your Kingdom...not by anything that we have done, but by what You did for us. Lord, I praise Your name today and everyday, for you are our King. Amen.

SATURDAY

Not Just Some Things, but All Things

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength  (Philippians 4:13 NLT).

All things are possible with Jesus. Nothing is too big or too small, He is with us all the time if we will just let him move into our heart. Thank you Jesus!

Lord, help us to realize the Power that we hold in our hand. Help us to understand this is Your power, the power of the believer which is given to us, as followers of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You Lord for loving us so much that you have told us nothing is impossible with You as our Savior. In Your Holy Name, I ask and pray. Amen.

SUNDAY

Hear and Do

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace  (Colossians 1:6 NLT).

How do you think the good news of Jesus Christ gets to others? It just doesn't happen. It doesn't happen through osmosis. We are commissioned to take this message to all who will listen.

Folks, get out there and share with others what Jesus has done for you. You don't have to be a theologian or a Bible scholar, just tell them "your story." That is what God has asked us to do.

Just Do It! Someone needs to hear it. It could change their life forever. An eternal change through the amazing mercy and grace of Jesus.

Lord God, thank You for giving us a job for Your kingdom. I pray that each of Your children will be hearers and doers of Your word. Amen.
