The Senate is back in session. They took two weeks off. Interesting … as Senate Majority Leader John Thune previously said that because the Senate is so “busy” they can’t risk delaying important business with a “talking filibuster” over the SAVE America Act.

The Senate has been back in D.C. for more than a week, though – and still no movement on the SAVE America Act. Let that sink in. Senate Majority Leader John Thune continues to stall.

With your help, let’s get him and the entire Senate moving. Please call and email your U.S. Senators and ask them to pass the SAVE America Act. No excuses.

But let’s get this straight. The SAVE America Act is not about MAGA. Not about President Trump. Not about the filibuster or obscure Senate rules. The SAVE America Act is about one thing: either our elections matter or they don’t. If they do, requiring voter ID, as the SAVE America Act does, makes perfect sense. If they do, not allowing people who are not U.S. citizens to vote, makes perfect sense. The SAVE America Act merely requires that anyone who registers to vote in a federal election show proof of identity and American citizenship.

If elections mean something, the Senate will pass the SAVE America Act, which has already passed the U.S. House. And is supported by 91 percent of Republicans and 69 percent of Independents, according to a recent Harvard Caps Harris poll.

The same poll found nearly 60 percent of voters want the SAVE America Act passed before the 2026 midterms.

When voters elected Donald Trump the second time, the mandate was this:

Secure the border.
Secure elections.

Senate Republicans should be standing with the American people, not sidelining the SAVE America Act.

What the SAVE America Act Does

Common sense.

Every day without the SAVE America Act is another day without elections secured for citizens only. If we don’t have that, we don’t have a republic.
