Warning! Nickelodeon Kid’s Network featured a family with two dads in the animated show The Loud House during its last episode. The series, which centers on the life of Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters, was the first Nickelodeon show in history to feature a same-sex married couple. The married gay couple is seen while dropping off their child Clyde at the Loud residence for a sleepover. Nickelodeon is attempting to normalize same-sex marriage while desensitizing young viewers.
Unfortunately, children are now being exposed to LGBT content on a network designed for kids. The Supreme Court legalizing same-sex marriage does not make it right or morally correct, and Nickelodeon should stick to entertaining instead of pushing an agenda. Nickelodeon has decided to be politically correct instead of providing family-friendly programming.
Families tuning in to watch a children’s network may encounter a premature discussion on sexual orientation that is completely unnecessary. Nickelodeon and its sponsors should avoid controversial topics. This is the last place parents would expect their children to be confronted with content that is too difficult for them to understand.
Please use the information we have provided to contact and strongly encourage Toys ‘R’ Us to pull their sponsorship from The Loud House.
