Update: Victory! Apartments.com is pulling their sponsorship of 'Teachers' immediately!
TV Land has recently begun airing the vile new program “Teachers.” The previews alone are disgusting, and that is extremely disturbing since it involves a young cast. The series airs on Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. ET/9:30 p.m. CT with a 14-L rating, but the previews air much earlier in the evening when children are likely watching TV. The advertisements for “Teachers” are airing during shows such as the “Andy Griffith Show” and other family-friendly programs. If the promos are this bad, then obviously the show is not suitable for TV.
It is almost impossible to describe the depth of depravity found in the TV Land sitcom "Teachers." Every scene is filled with s-xual innuendos, implications, or encounters. (A dash '-' is used to bypass internet filters.) It is impossible to list them all, so here are a few scenes from this TV-14-L rated show:
• School nurse says, “I don’t get paid enough to deal with these b-tches.”
• Several make-out sessions between two female teachers
• Male janitor and female teacher are caught with his hand in her pants and another scene where their s-xual encounter involves knocking things on the floor and breaking things
• Mocks Christians
• Uses God’s name in vain
• Teacher removes pantyhose in front of classroom of students and superintendent
• Phony Health Awareness bre-st inspection van
1MM wants to support and encourage teachers, not belittle, mock, or bring them down as TV Land is doing. Everyone knows that the entertainment industry desensitizes viewers, especially impressionable young minds.
TV Land's newest show “Teachers” is irresponsible and an insult to all teachers. The network is encouraging crude dialogue, offensive gestures at school, teachers being cruel to young children, and questioning authority.
