With the 2024 United States presidential election only weeks away, many Americans still have a proverbial bad taste in their mouths from the 2020 election.

Multiple polls taken since 2020 by Monmouth University Polling Institute have consistently shown that 30% of Americans believe some form of voter fraud took place in the last presidential election.

Mainstream media sources denounce such accusations as ridiculous rhetoric fueled by right-wing extremists and conspiracy theorists. Yet in 2024 alone, The Heritage Foundation reported 14 cases of election fraud that were proven to be much more than rhetoric.

Valid concerns

Ranging from fraudulent absentee ballots to ineligible voting, buying of votes, duplicate voting, false voter registration, and more, these 14 cases resulted in prosecuted offenders receiving criminal convictions or pretrial diversion programs. In some instances, so many ballots were overturned that new elections were required.

These cases – and over 1,500 other proven instances of voter fraud tracked by Heritage over the past 40 years – substantiate the need to safeguard the integrity of the 2024 presidential election.

Recognizing the validity of this national concern, AFA Vice President Walker Wildmon will host an in-depth panel discussion of one overriding question: Which direction will America take on Election Day? The discussion will be featured in the upcoming Episode 6 of afa@HOME.

Produced by AFA and available through AFA Stream, afa@HOME is an ongoing video series addressing the cultural and spiritual issues facing America from the perspective of leading Christian voices. Issues discussed include evangelism and discipleship, marriage and family, morality, the sanctity of human life, stewardship, and religious liberty.

“It’s going to be an interesting election,” Wildmon told The Stand, “especially considering the last-minute withdrawal of President Joe Biden. In modern American history, this is the latest point that a presidential candidate has withdrawn from an election. So that’s one thing we plan to discuss in this episode.”

Relevant questions

Guest panelists Rick Green, Phillip Jauregui, Sandy Rios, Jameson Taylor, and Debbie Wuthnow will join Wildmon in an informal, conversational setting as they answer a series of questions concerning the race between Vice President Kamala Harris (D) and former President Donald Trump (R).

The panel will cover the following topics: anomalies of the 2020 election, measures taken to prevent similar problems in 2024, and the top three powers a U.S. president possesses.

“As Washington grows more out of control,” said Wildmon, “state and local elections are low-hanging fruit for Christians. We must balance our concerns over national elections with the ones affecting our daily lives.”

In addition to congressional, state, and local elections, Wildmon and his guests will examine current media-fueled presidential election talk of “saving national democracy,” as opposed to America’s historically constitutional republic.

“Concerning this topic,” Wildmon stated, “we definitely want to look at the way Democratic power brokers subverted primary voting and basically installed Vice President Harris as their party’s nominee.”

The panelists will also take a thorough look at both candidates and their campaign strategies, including each candidate’s vice presidential pick and the possibility of potential Supreme Court vacancies.

“We need to be diligent in electing our president,” warned Wildmon, “so that we get righteous judges.”

For Wildmon, due diligence is the goal of afa@HOME, Episode 6, which is set to release October 17 at stream.afa.net.

Wildmon hopes viewers will walk away from this show with a clearer, more concise, Christian perspective of everything at stake, and vote accordingly on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
