I have been fascinated by space since childhood. The memories of being just five years old and watching the launch of Apollo 11 on our little black and white TV set were just the beginning of a lifetime of fascination with human spaceflight. When I became aware that the 55th anniversary of that groundbreaking flight was coming up, I immediately reached out to Dr. Jonathan Sarfati, author and lead scientist with Creation Ministries International, for an interview on The Stand Radio.
Dr. Sarfati had written an article about the first moon landing on its 50th anniversary and had a unique way of bringing the Christian worldview to bear on the scientific significance of that event. We began our conversation by reflecting on the Christians who were fundamental in making Apollo 11 possible, most notably, Dr. Wernher Von Braun.

For example, the tiny motor that produces ATP, the energy currency of life, is the smallest motor in the universe, and its discovery has profound implications for our understanding of life at the molecular level. DNA, described by Dr. Sarfati as the most advanced information storage and retrieval system in the universe, further underscores the complexity and brilliance of creation.
