In this episode of It's My Turn, Don Wildmon invites us to consider the universal experience of facing difficult situations. No matter who we are or what we have achieved, life has a way of presenting us with challenges that test our resolve, our character, and our faith.

Bro. Don begins with a profound truth: we are never truly prepared for life's trying times, but we can find strength in dedication. He urges us to examine the foundation upon which we stand when the storm rages. Is it selfishness, apathy, or something more profound like a deep and abiding faith in a higher power?

He delves into the Psalms as a source of comfort and guidance, illustrating how faith has been a cornerstone for countless individuals throughout history. But faith alone is not enough; it must be coupled with decisive action. Wildmon emphasizes the importance of decision-making, not between easy and hard choices, but often between hard and harder ones.

Listeners are encouraged to study their situations carefully, explore all possibilities, and then make the best possible decision. Prayer is highlighted as a crucial element before any decision, as difficult situations are too daunting to face without divine assistance.

The final piece of the puzzle is determination. A decision without action is merely indecision. Once a course of action is chosen, it is imperative to act immediately, setting the wheels in motion to follow through with that decision. The misery of indecision is contrasted with the peace that comes from taking action, even in the face of uncertainty.

As Bro. Don eloquently states, "In facing our difficult situations, we must always be open to new truth, new light breaking in to make the path clearer." This episode is not just a call to action but an invitation to embrace the highest and best route open to us, armed with the determination to do our best.

If you've ever found yourself at a crossroad, faced with a difficult situation, or simply in need of some guidance, this episode is for you.

'Our best' is all we can do, and according to Wildmon, when we have done that, "it is good enough."
