Defend the Republic of America at the Ballot Box

DAILY STAND EMAIL
Friday, November 04, 2016 @ 02:30 PM Defend the Republic of America at the Ballot Box Tim Wildmon President MORE

You've heard it said time and time again that "this election is more important than any election before." Perhaps that's because political candidates have increasingly been promoting secular liberalism with more intensity than ever before. Also, perhaps its because of secular liberals' increasing disdain for the foundational principles the Republic of America was founded upon. As citizens, these are worth defending and fighting for at the ballot box.

Here's our challenge to you…

Call on Christians to be informed voters. Direct them to AFA Action's unique voter resources that include short videos such as the significance of the president appointing judges. Share with others how the major political parties and their presidential candidates differ (church bulletin inserts are also available).

Visit the AFA Action voter guide which is the most distinctive and comprehensive presentation of information on candidates available at one location for values voters. Enter your address and identify information on your candidates that will assist in determining who will best represent your values if elected to public office.

Show solidarity on social media among other Christians who are voting. You can do this by adding a banner to the bottom of your FaceBook profile picture that states, "I'm Voting." Change your profile picture here.

Vote on November 8. Candidates will be elected and will make decisions on issues such as religious liberty, limited government, free enterprise, national defense, and traditional Judeo-Christian values, the sanctity of life, and one-man-one-woman marriage. And then there is the extremely important issue of appointing federal judges (who are appointed for life), including Supreme Court justices and other federal judges, who are nominated and appointed by the president alone.

Watch live election results at AFR.net. Starting at 6:05pm CT on election day American Family Radio will cover the election night live on radio and live streaming on the internet at www.AFR.net and also live streaming on AFR FaceBook page. Host Tim Wildmon, Ed Vitagliano and Bryan Fischer will keep you updated throughout the evening on election results as they come in.

Now is not the time to let others choose your leaders for you. Vote and encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to vote on November 8.
