Planned Parenthood’s theft of $792 million of taxpayers’ dollars to fund abortions is unbiblical and unconstitutional, says AFA

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. —Despite concerns from the pro-life community, taxpayer dollars are still being allocated to Planned Parenthood, the abortion powerhouse that promotes sex changes, gender dysmorphia, and other unbiblical practices. Recent reports reveal that Planned Parenthood committed 402,230 abortions and received $792.2 million in taxpayer funding in 2024. U.S. taxpayers became Planned Parenthood’s largest financial contributor, supplying 39% of the organization’s $2 billion in revenue.

American Family Association (AFA) stands firm in its pro-family values and abhors the use of taxpayer dollars on Planned Parenthood’s liberal agenda. For over 40 years, AFA has fought to support the traditional biblical framework this country was founded, including the fight to protect the sanctity of life.

“Science proves that life begins at conception, yet abortion juggernauts like Planned Parenthood foist the senseless murder of innocent children on impressionable young women and call it ‘freedom,’” said AFA President Tim Wildmon. “The fact that pro-life citizens are forced to see their hard-earned money go to abortions and gender reassignment surgery is sickening. We cannot stand idly by and allow the misuse of taxpayer dollars to continue. Thankfully, with this new administration, we have a chance to right this wrong and make a lasting difference.”

“AFA believes true morality flows from biblical principles and directs people to the manner in which God intends them to live,” said Jameson Taylor, director of AFA Action’s Center for Government Renewal. “Our country was founded on the idea that every man could live according to his personal beliefs — and that he would not be forced to partake in what he deems immoral. The government cannot continue to force Americans to fund procedures that end the lives of the innocent.”
