President-elect Donald J. Trump’s victory: ‘a reprieve for America,’ opening the door for major and much-needed reform,’ says AFA President
TUPELO, Miss. — With President-elect Donald J. Trump set to take office on January 20, 2025, American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) President Tim Wildmon is hopeful for four years of reform, especially in America’s family and cultural issues.
“President Trump’s electoral victory undoubtedly provides a reprieve for America and opens the door for major and much-needed reform in Washington,” says Wildmon. “The conservative movement must proceed full speed ahead on radical and unorthodox reform of every agency in our nation’s capital.
“AFA’s focus will be to ensure that constitutionalist judges are appointed to the federal courts including the Supreme Court, natural marriage is promoted, religious freedom is protected, children are protected from the radical LGBTQ+ policies, and the weaponization of the Justice Department against pro-lifers is ended.”
For over 40 years, AFA has operated within the mission to inform, equip, and activate individuals to strengthen the moral foundations of American culture and give aid to the church here and abroad in its task of fulfilling the Great Commission. Founded in 1977, AFA has long been on the front lines of America’s culture war. Today, AFA is one of the largest and most effective pro-family organizations in the country, with nearly a million online supporters and approximately 110,000 subscribers to The Stand (formerly known as the AFA Journal), the ministry’s monthly magazine.
