Dawkins, Morgan, and Rowling agree with Genesis that there are two sexes, men and women

TUPELO, Miss. — American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) commends famous atheist Richard Dawkins’ for his comments to Piers Morgan this past week defending J.K. Rowling from “bullying” by transgender activists. Activists have attacked Rowling for years following her public statements about two sexes, but Dawkins, a scientist, defended the Harry Potter author saying that, “as a biologist, there are two sexes and that's all there is to it.”

Dawkins further told television journalist Piers Morgan that race is biologically fluid, but “Sex is not like that, sex really is binary.” Morgan lamented the transgender attack on the accurate use of words, saying that language should not be made to “pretend biology doesn’t exist.” 

AFA Executive Vice President Ed Vitagliano says absolute truth is at stake in the transgender onslaught, and we should appreciate those who stand bravely for the common-sense position that there are two sexes. Genesis, the first book of the Bible and the Torah, clearly state this fact.

“Clear-thinking people should applaud the courage of those like J.K. Rowling and Richard Dawkins, who are willing to tangle with the delusions of the transgender activists,” said Vitagliano. “As they both have discovered, willingness comes at a cost, because radicals have unleashed their fury against them. Of course, for the Christian community, we must ensure that such courage comes with compassion for those who are suffering under those delusions. But standing for the truth is important in an increasingly irrational culture.”
