AFA: Tyranny! Court says school authorities own the children, parents must simply live with it
TUPELO, Miss. — In a shocking ruling that seemingly ignores America’s Constitution, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals said parents do not have standing to sue Montgomery County Public Schools to learn if their children are being subjected to a “gender support plan.” In a common sense assertion, the parents argued that the school’s policy contradicts a parent’s “fundamental right to raise their children under the Fourteenth Amendment.” Yet the court held that if a youngster wants to transition, it can be a secret between teachers and students, forcing parents to remain legally in the dark.
American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) Executive Vice President Ed Vitagliano said the court agrees with the parasitic thinking that the schools own the children, and parents don’t matter all that much.
“The radical left has become infected with an ideological fever that clouds its ability to see life clearly, and now the majority on this appeals court seem to have fallen victim to the same viral hysteria. The judges have stated that parents have no standing to sue because they cannot prove that their children have been indoctrinated in transgender nonsense; however, the school’s policy prevents parents from knowing the very truth that would give them standing to sue. This is reprehensible. The judges should simply say out loud what they are thinking –– the school owns the kids, not the parents. The time is coming when judges like these should be summarily impeached and tossed from the bench. They serve neither the Constitution, natural law, nor the God who gave it,” said Vitagliano.
