AFA: No, childhood innocence is NOT mythology

TUPELO, Miss. — A California college instructor for early child development has been telling future school teachers he’s “tired of the ‘childhood innocence’ argument” because it “doesn’t exist.” William “Willy” Villalpando believes childhood innocence is “mythology.” Rather than providing the youngest students with a foundation for achievement by teaching them to read, write and do math at grade level, Villalpando says students need to be sexualized as young as possible with “queerness” and propagandized with social justice doctrines.

Objecting to this kind of “education,” American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) Executive Vice President Ed Vitagliano says parents must be more protective of their children than ever before, in light of continuing revelations that the public school apparatus is deeply committed to undermining parents at every turn and actively contradicting true family values across all curricula.

“We are seeing more and more examples of teachers and so-called ‘experts’ sexualizing our children and using taxpayer-funded schools to do it,” said Vitagliano. “For decades, these evangelists of the sexual revolution hid their intentions from parents and the general public. But now, they are boldly and arrogantly proclaiming their agenda. Parents need to remain vigilant in protecting their children from these wolves who have shed their sheep’s clothing. They are wicked.”
