AFA denounces UN report: ‘The resistance to promoting sex with children will be angry and swift’

TUPELO, Miss. — In yet another globalist attempt to cancel reality, a recent UN report proposes decriminalizing sex with children, claiming that prohibiting “consent” by minors is an attack on human rights. The proponents of this wicked perversity buried the proposal’s language in a part of the document they hoped would sneak by their opposition. The 32-page proposal was issued by the UN group called International Committee of Jurists (ICJ) and is harmlessly titled “8 March Principles.” The report stated that “criminal law is among the harshest of tools at the disposal of the State to exert control over individuals,” implying the public owes patience and understanding to pedophiles.

American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) Executive Vice President Ed Vitagliano says the disgusting degradation and outright perversity of the proposal will cause necessary public outrage and backlash.

“Christians and other conservatives have long predicted that sexual radicals would eventually wind up here — calling for the legalization of sex with minors,” said Vitagliano. “It was always the one taboo that they hesitated to break, but the revolutionaries of this demonic, hedonistic movement now believe themselves triumphant. But if the U.N. adopts this recommendation, the radicals will have overplayed their hand. Only the most perverse individuals believe that minors can consent to sex with adults. The vast majority of people are normal, sane, and protective of their children and grandchildren. Their pushback on this issue will be angry and swift –– as it should be.”
