American Family Association calls youth gender reassignment surgery child abuse
TUPELO, Miss. — American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.net) disputed the Biden Administration’s claims this week that children should be allowed— and even encouraged— to have gender reassignment surgery because it’s healthy and safe.
Biden reiterated his broad support for transgenderism by threatening legal battles against states that do not embrace men competing as women. President Biden also claimed that he’s “standing up for transgender equality in the classroom, on the playing field, at work, in our military, in our housing and health care systems— everywhere.”
“This is wickedness parading about in the garb of science, like a ghoul in a tuxedo,” said AFA Executive Vice President Ed Vitagliano. “But we should not be surprised at the twisting of science by political ideologues. In the past we had evil policies like racism-based eugenics, which was supposedly ‘science-based’ too. Now the radical secularists have turned their destructive tendencies on our children. The warping of young minds and bodies by the delusions of the transgender activists is an afront to God and the reality He has created. Moreover, these wild-eyed psychopaths demand the right to carry out their experiments on our children without parental knowledge or consent. Heaven have mercy on us if we allow it.”
