Today, and for a limited time, I invite you to watch for free the Asbury Revival: Desperate for More documentary on our streaming platform. This is an explosive 50-minute documentary that tracks the 16-day revival that occurred at Asbury University in February. And for your generous support of the AFA mission, I’ll send you a DVD of the documentary to share with your church, Sunday School class, or small group. You and your friends are sure to be inspired by the revival that started from a few young people desperate and hungry for the Lord.

On February 8, 2023, some students stayed after chapel at Asbury University and continued worshiping. And they kept going for 16 days! Thankfully, a production team was there during the outpouring and the Asbury Revival: Desperate for More documentary brings you this behind-the-scenes view of what the Holy Spirit was doing – reported directly from students, staff, university administrators, and participants.

The outpouring drew people from all over the United States and the entire world, including Brazil, the Philippines, and Singapore, to name a few. What the Holy Spirit started at Asbury spread to Samford University, Baylor University, Cedarville University, Texas A&M, Oklahoma Baptist University, Louisiana State University, Regent University, Indiana Wesleyan, and over 30 other college campuses.

AFA and Asbury University have a wonderful history together, going back to the early 1980s when Asbury recognized the leadership of my dad and AFA founder Don Wildmon by bestowing upon him an honorary doctorate of ministry degree. AFA is also blessed to have gifted graduates of Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary on our staff leadership team.

Radical humility. Compassion. Honesty. Confession. Life-altering commitments.” This is how Asbury University President Kevin J. Brown describes what he witnessed with the spontaneous student-led gathering in February. Social media was abuzz with viral accounts of salvation, forgiveness, reconciliation, and spiritual and physical healing on the Wilmore campus. Tens of thousands of people of all ages and ethnicities – longing to draw closer to God – traveled great distances to the campus and waited outside in long lines for hours just to be in the presence of God.

I sincerely hope that you will watch this documentary and get the DVD to pass along to your family and friends. In doing so, I ask you to join with me in praising God for this generation seeking after God and praying that we will do all we can to fan these flames of revival across our nation.
