MONDAY

Praising Our Father In Heaven

That is why I can never stop praising you;

I declare your glory all day long (Psalm 71:8 NLT).

All praise to our God, who continues to bless us, far more than we deserve. Thanks be to God. Praising Him all the day long!

Dear Father, lead us and direct us today so that we might understand how blessed we are by You. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

TUESDAY

Beyond Our Imagination

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds  (Psalm 36:5 NLT).

When our eyes open each morning, we should immediately thank God for another day of life. He blesses us each day. His love for us goes beyond our ability to understand the depth of that love.

God is faithful to us, even when we are not faithful to Him. He grants us forgiveness, time and time again. He knows we are a broken people who are pulled into sin through our sinful nature. He knows that we need a Savior, which He provided through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Every day, we should praise Him and come to the foot of the cross in worship. I pray that You know Him and that you have committed your life to Him. If you haven't, today is not too late to turn to Him, but tomorrow might be...we aren't guaranteed tomorrow. Isn't it time to make your decision for Christ?

Dear Lord, I pray that many will come to You in repentance, knowing that they are lost for eternity without You. I pray this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

WEDNESDAY

Stop, Look and Listen

For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths (2 Timothy 4:3-4 NLT).

STOP! Stop believing what the world tells you to believe.
START! Opening God's word and believe what He is telling you.

Folks, last time I checked, right is still right and wrong is still wrong. No matter what the deceivers of this world proclaim. Moral will always trump Immoral. Natural will best Un-Natural. God's word will reign, forever and ever.  Thanks be to God.
Lord God, thank You for your word. Help us to be diligent in reading and studying it. Help us to be dedicated to learning more about You and Your path for our lives. Help us to know Your truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.

THURSDAY

Light Is Available

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life” (John 8:12 NLT).

Are you tired of stumbling around in the darkness of this broken world? Do you need Light? It's amazing what can be seen when God shines His Light over your life. Let His Light Shine into your life. It will be the most important thing you will ever do.

Lord God, thank You for Your Light. In Jesus' name, Amen.

FRIDAY

Our Good Father

“My child, don’t reject the LORD’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights” (Proverbs 3:11-12 NLT).

Our Father in Heaven corrects us when we get off course. His correction is out of His great love for us. Accept the adjustment, get back on the right path and thank God for His amazing love.

Dear Lord, we all tend to get off track. I pray for Your gentle hand of correction to bring us back to where You designed us to be. In Jesus' name. Amen.

SATURDAY

All of Us Are Sinners

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God (Romans 5:6-11 NLT).

We cannot claim that we live without sin. We are all broken and fall short of God's commandments. BUT, we have a Savior. That is the Good News.

Do you know the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ? If so, are you sharing the truth of Christ with others? Are you withholding telling someone about the Good News of Christ because you are afraid to confront them about their sinful lifestyle? Don't be. God has this under control. Just tell your story about what Jesus has done in your life, which is what God wants from us. Be a light for Him. Be His hands and feet.

Remember that we all sin. Our sin may be different than another person’s sin, but sin is sin. Sin separates us from God. God loves all of us and wants to have a relationship with all of His children. God, also, gives each of us the free will to decide and make that decision. We can choose Jesus or sin, we can't live with Jesus in our hearts and continue to live in unrepented sin. Christ and sin cannot co-exist. Yes, those in Christ will sin from time to time but when it happens, a Christian will feel conviction and fall to their knees in repentance. We must go and do our best to sin no more. (read - John 8:1-11) Jesus doesn't save us so that we can continue to sin, He saves us from sin.

Love the sinner (this includes each of us) but hate the sin that separates us from our God. Jesus Christ has victory over sin. He wins, thus we are also victors, not because of what we have done but what Jesus did for us.

Thanks be to God!

Father God, thank you for saving us from ourselves by the life, death and resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ. He died so that we might live, so help us live like we are Your sons and daughters. Help us not to live as children of Satan. Help us to turn from our sin and live the life You have designed for us. We give You all the praise and glory. Amen.

SUNDAY

God Has Open Arms

“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him (Luke 15:20 NLT).

No matter how far we run, no matter how many years we hide, no matter what we have done, our Heavenly Father is waiting for our return. He has His mighty arms, spread wide open, ready to embrace us. He loves us more than we can ever imagine. He has never forsaken us or given up on us. We are His valued children.

Isn't it time to come back home? Isn't it time to turn from your wicked ways and find out what real life is all about? Isn't it time to let God bless you and redeem you? Aren't you tired of running?

Dear Lord, use this message to bring someone “home” to You. Father God, my prayer today and always is to bring them home. Someone reading this needs to turn around and head back into Your mighty arms, Father. Please Lord, bring them home. I pray this in the mighty name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
