Today is a day of mourning for America. Last night was the deadliest day for law enforcement since 9/11. Five Dallas police officers died and seven were wounded after one or more snipers opened fire on them near downtown Dallas. This should disturb all Americans from every walk of life to see law enforcement officers attacked by such ruthless individuals.

Today is a day for uniting. Law enforcement officers across this nation need our support. They have one of the most difficult jobs in America.

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings has called for a prayer vigil to take place today at 12PM CT in downtown Dallas. I’m asking Americans all across this country to join the city of Dallas in mourning and prayer. Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, pause for a moment to join Dallas in prayer at approximately 12PM CT.
