Pornography is a gateway for groomers and predators. In 2024, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTip Line documented 11,382 child sexual abuse (CSAM) reports in Wisconsin. These numbers represent children waiting to be rescued from their abusers.

A bill (AB 105) on Governor Tony Evers’ desk would hold these abusers accountable. But the governor needs to hear from you. Call him at 608-266-1212 or email him and urge him to sign AB 105.

Research shows 93 percent of boys and 63 percent of girls are exposed to internet pornography before the age of 18, with the average age of first exposure being 12-years-old.

70 percent of kids ages 8- to 18-years-old have had unsolicited exposure to pornography when conducting an innocent search online. Many of these children are shocked, confused, and too ashamed to tell anyone. This secrecy leaves them suffering as they try to process it alone.

Several states, including Wisconsin, don’t have commonsense safeguards for adult websites, the same as for adult brick-and-mortar bookstores. That’s why more than 25 states now require age verification for adult websites. AB 105 would enable Wisconsin to have these same protections.

Governor Evers needs to know Wisconsin families urgently need this legislation. Please call and email Governor Evers and ask him to sign AB 105. Call him at 608-266-1212 or email him today.

In today’s sexualized cultural environment, we must put safeguards in place to protect the innocence of children and stop predators from abusing kids.

Call now before someone you know becomes a victim. Help protect Wisconsin’s children.
