Things are upside down, as usual. Men think they’re women and women think they’re men. And what exactly is a furry? The latest crazy news is that Republicans in the U.S. Senate, led by Republican Senator John Thune, are wondering whether to pass legislation that enacts safeguards so that only U.S. citizens vote in U.S. elections.

The legislation is H.R. 22, sponsored by Rep. Chip Roy, called the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

It passed the House in April 2025! The Senate version of the bill, the SAVE America Act, has been improved to include a requirement for photo ID when voting. After sitting on this bill for months, Senator Thune suddenly announced he will bring it to a vote in the Senate. But now he is waffling.

This is a commonsense bill! Please call your U.S. senator and ask them to bring the SAVE America Act to the floor and vote YES!

Radical progressive Democrats have taken aggressive steps to remake America—pushing open borders, releasing millions of illegal aliens into our communities, and dismantling commonsense election integrity safeguards.

The Problem

The Biden administration allowed millions of illegal aliens into the United States, including 1.8 million known “gotaways.”

At the same time:

In many states, non-citizens may obtain driver’s licenses and government benefits, creating real opportunities for illegal voter registration.
Some jurisdictions even allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.
Although federal law states that only U.S. citizens may vote in federal elections, Washington bureaucrats have undermined state laws that require proof of citizenship to register.
Fourteen states, plus Washington, D.C., do not require voters to present an ID at the ballot box

When non-citizens are allowed to register or vote, American citizens lose their voice.

Again, this is common sense. This is necessary to save our elections. Please call your U.S. senator and ask them to bring the SAVE America Act to the floor and vote YES!
