Gay activists will always tell you whom they fear the most by the people they try to kneecap.

GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, has identified the 36 commentators who spook them the most in their Commentator Accountability Project.

These 36 commentators have been chosen by GLAAD because their unapologetic and unwavering declaration of the truth about homosexuality and the homosexual agenda threatens GLAAD’s objective to destroy the last trace of Judeo-Christian morality in our public life.

GLAAD has published this “enemies list” so that its network of heterophobes can contact headquarters anytime one of these commentators exercises his First Amendment right to freedom of speech and religion on local or national media outlets. The goal of GLAAD is clearly to drive these voices off the air.

GLAAD’s sad little McCarthyite roster is a veritable “Who’s Who” of the pro-family community. Among the voices they are seeking to silence are Gary Bauer, Chuck Colson, Rev. Jim Garlow, Bishop Harry Jackson, Jim Daly of Focus on the Family, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, and Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association.

Yours truly happens to be on this hit list, along with familiar leaders of the pro-family movement such as David Barton of Wallbuilders, Rev. Al Mohler of the Southern Baptist Convention, and Maggie Gallagher and Brian Brown of the National Organization for Marriage.

Here’s a striking thing. Of the 36 spokesman gay activists fear the most, no less than 11 have a programming presence on the American Family Radio Talk Network, which is a division of the American Family Association.

In other words, almost one-third of the folks that send shivers up the spine of gay activists promote and defend their values on AFR Talk.

This makes AFR Talk the most feared radio network in America.

The folks who give gay activists the shakes, whose programs or commentaries air on AFR Talk, are (in alphabetical order), David Barton, Michael Brown, Chuck Colson, Jim Daly, Bryan Fischer, Jim Garlow, Kevin McCullough, Tony Perkins, Frank Turek, Don Wildmon and Tim Wildmon.

I received a call from a reporter with a prominent left-wing magazine, who has observed that in states where AFR Talk has its greatest presence, the most socially conservative candidate in the GOP field, Rick Santorum, has done the best. She partially attributes Santorum’s success, rightly or wrongly, to the influence of AFR Talk.

AFR Talk will continue to promote and defend the Judeo-Christian values of faith, family and freedom that animated the Founding Fathers, and we will continue to do so without fear, retreat or capitulation to the forces of secular fundamentalism.

In other words, AFR Talk intends to be the most feared network in America for years to come. Get used to it, GLAAD. We’re not going anywhere.
