Don’t feel my pain, solve the problem.

We are now in the age of feelings trumping action; we want our leaders to express their feeling because that is how they show they care.  First off, it is their job to care and to solve! Ostensibly, that is the reason they were elected - or was it?

President Obama's voting record was one of political calculation; he voted present. Also, he had shown no ability to solve a problem.  Community organizers are about attacking not creating, or more importantly, solving.  They can raise awareness but they are not answering the how questions.  They go after established entities or policies; no creation or innovation. The result of what they do is not the big picture (comprehensive); it is what they got for their side.  The President has not shown the ability to solve problems: He talked of ending wars not winning them.  He advocated economic theories that have never, ever enhanced long term economic growth.  However, they are replete with examples of class warfare and demonization. Regrettably, our President does not have a good track record of solving problems.

Is it surprisingthat he is lost on the BP oil crisis?  I can only pray he doesn’t revert back to blame, demonization and feelings…oh, he has. A note to all elected officials: Solve the problems and explain how your solution works.  Any clown can criticize, believe me, I know being a talk show host; it takes a leader to solve.  Take a note of New Jersey’s governor Chris Christie; he expresses his feelings while offering solutions.
