America Needs a New Mop, Broom and Dustpan

The military has ordered a new MOP:

“[10/13/2009] WASHINGTON -- The Pentagon is speeding up delivery of a colossal bomb designed to destroy hidden weapons bunkers buried underground and shielded by 10,000 pounds of reinforced concrete.
----
The 15-ton behemoth -- called the "massive ordnance penetrator," or MOP -- will be the largest non-nuclear bomb in the U.S. arsenal and will carry 5,300 pounds of explosives. The bomb is about 10 times more powerful than the weapon it is designed to replace.”

YES!  We need this MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator).  When the military gets their new MOP, if they need follow-up suggestions, I'm sure that many people can point-out some potential targets. Targets that are threats to the peace and safety of the free world.  Like Iran's nuclear development sites, and North Korea's missile launch sites.

In addition, the US needs a new foreign policy, a BROOM (Big Reverberating Obliterator Of Marxism).  With MOP and BROOM the U.S. could depose (remove from power) some of the strutting and dangerous Marxist (communists) dictators in the Western Hemisphere, such as Hugo "Obama's-Buddy" Chávez in Venezuela.

And yes, here in America we need a new DUST PAN (Depose U.S. Traitor-politicians for Pusillanimous Appeasement of Neurotic-terrorists).

All the right tools (weapons) will not protect innocent citizens in this world, if leaders do not have the guts to stand-up to evil.  That is currently America's number one security problem. We have an appeaser (Obama) in the White House who seems intent on assisting our sworn enemies in the reduction or destruction of America.

Many people have compared Obama to former President Jimmy “Hug-a-thug” Carter, the worst Presidential disaster in American history...until Barack Obama.  Some people have compared Obama to Neville Chamberlain.  Chamberlain was Prime Minister of the UK from 1937-1949, and is best known for being duped and played for a sucker by Adolph Hitler.  Fortunately, Chamberlain was quickly replaced by Winston Churchill, or the UK likely would have surrendered to Germany at the very beginning of World War II.

I think a more apt model for Obama would be Vidkun Quisling.  Quisling is the man whose name became the word for someone who helps an enemy.  Quisling was a Norwegian politician who assisted Nazi Germany in conquering his own country.  QuislingISM and socialism seem to be closely related.

Here in the USA, we got a good look at the controlling socialistic ideology in Norway, when (October 9, 2009) the five-member committee of lawmakers elected by the Norwegian parliament awarded the Nobel Peace (read appeasement) Prize to Barack Obama for no discernible accomplishment other than being the non-Bush.  And, of course, for advocating policy that is resulting in a weakened and neutered America.  This is what the Euro-wimps in Norway advocate...every country should be socialistic, and military sending for their own defense should continue to come from the deep pockets of the USA, while they spend their money on left wing, social programs.

Norway is apparently filled with defense free-loaders who are perfectly willing to enjoy the umbrella of safety that still exists in their region of the world due in large part to U.S. military power (NATO); but they are apparently unwilling to pay their fair-share for that protection.

“[2009] NATO comprises twenty-six members: Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway [emphasis mine], Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. And since their accession on 29 March 2004, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenina.
----
The combined military spending of all NATO members constitutes over 70% of the world's defence spending, with the United States alone accounting for about half the total military spending of the world and the United Kingdom and France accounting for a further 10%..The military expenditures of the 25 members of NATO increased by $51 billion in 2007, reaching $855 billion, stated Jane's Defence Weekly (JDW) on Jan. 4 2008
According to the figures, the European members of the organization provided 34 percent of the overall total while Canada provided 2 percent and the United States accounted for the rest. Most European countries [Norway included], except Bulgaria, France, Greece, Turkey and the United States, failed to meet the NATO-mandated commitment to spare 2 percent of their national income for defense. [emphasis mine]”

“[2006] The US ambassador, Benson K. Whitney, asked Norway to increase the defense budget in a speech to Oslo Militære Samfund (Oslo Military Society) tonight. He also expressed discontent with the decision not to send more troops to Afghanistan.
- Norway is number 14 on the list of NATO-countries regarding defense spending in relation to income. I ask that Norway, as the richest of the NATO countries, sets a good example and raises defense spending to the NATO demand of 2% of national budget, said Whitney. He stressed that Norway is far from being the only country to spend less than 2% on defense, and that this is a problem.”

Socialism and quislingISM seen to go together...like a horse and carriage.  In contemporary usage, quisling is particularly applied to politicians who appear to favor the interests of other nations or cultures over their own.  Yes, that's Obama.  Our own President Quisling.

What aspects of our National Security has President Quisling already given away.  One of the first, serious, and needless capitulations to our enemies around the world was Obama’s pronouncement during his campaign that he would meet with dictators without precondition.

“Barack Obama's original answer seemed crystal clear: last July, asked whether he would meet with the "leaders" of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, and North Korea "without precondition," during his first year as president, he quickly answered yes.

"I would," Obama, D-Ill., said at the CNN/YouTube debate. "And the reason is this: that the notion that somehow not talking to countries is punishment to them -- which has been the guiding diplomatic principle of this administration -- is ridiculous."

Obama has not renounced his commitment to meet directly with the leaders of rogue nations, including Iran. But in recent weeks, his top aides and advisers have sought to add caveats to his promise, as Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., has made Obama's debate answer a central campaign issue.”

Many people have labeled this action, naïve.  But it is difficult to imagine that anyone running for President, let alone being elected President, could possibly be that childishly naïve concerning the workings of real-world diplomacy.  As you can see, I am suggesting another explanation for Obama's action, quislingISM.  Obama has made it abundantly clear that he intends to reduce America to the same level as every other nation in the world, “No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed.” (say goodbye to American exceptionalism).  By declaring that he would meet “without precondition” Obama simply gave-away one of America's major diplomatic bargaining chips.  Unbelievable.

Stepping up his appeasement approach to foreign policy to the next level, President Obama, after being in office only a little over seven months proceeded to completely capitulate to the Russians by scrapping the promised European missile shield.  Not only did he surrender to the Russians, he betrayed our Eastern European allies.

“Barack Obama surrenders to Russia on Missile Defence – The Telegraph, UK
"It represents the appalling appeasement of Russian aggression and a willingness to sacrifice American allies on the altar of political expediency."”

While surrendering to the Russians, Obama found time to virtually disassociate the CIA from the war on terror, or in Obama White House newspeak, overseas contingency operations.  In addition Obama has allowed (directed) his Attorney General, Eric Holder, to launch a political witch-hunt against CIA officials for their actions during the Bush administration:

“Seven former CIA directors sent a letter to President Obama on Friday urging him to use his authority to reverse Attorney General Eric Holder’s decision to re-open and pursue cases of prisoner abuse within the CIA in the wake of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

In August, Holder appointed a U.S. prosecutor to begin a criminal probe of CIA questioning of terror suspects during the Bush administration, reversing the course set by the Bush administration. The investigation potentially exposes CIA employees and agency contractors to criminal prosecution.

"Attorney General Holder's decision to re-open the criminal investigation creates an atmosphere of continuous jeopardy for those whose cases the Department of Justice had previously declined to prosecute," the former officials wrote. "Moreover, there is no reason to expect that the re-opened criminal investigation will remain narrowly focused."”

Perhaps less dangerous but more exasperating for many of us has been the numerous Obama bad-mouth-America tours during which he has made such preposterous statements as the following:

“In a speech in France, a country that has been a bastion of anti-US sentiment in recent years, the President said: "In America, there is a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive. [my emphasis]”

How unbelievably ironic that the most arrogant person ever to inhabit the White House would call America arrogant, and especially to do so in one of the world's bastions of arrogance: France.

Yes, America needs a new MOP and a new BROOM and desperately needs a new DUST PAN.  And the first sweep-up (vote out) needs to be the Reid-Pelosi controlled congress (in 2010); and the second sweep-up (vote out) needs to be President Quisling (2012).
